Preventing Child Abuse Kentucky has partnered with the Kentucky State Police to develop resources to help keep children safe online. They have created three free tips to help teachers and families in their understanding of online safety.

The tips cover the topics of general internet safety, cyberbullying, and gaming safety.

95% of teens have access to a smartphone, computer, tablet or other electronic device, making them vulnerable to cyberbullying and exploitation.

Child Abuse Prevention Kentucky has supported Internet safety awareness and education for over 15 years. This work includes a free online training, Electronic Crimes Against Children: How to Educate, Monitor, and Communicate About Internet Safety, which provides insight into how perpetrators groom children online and what parents and guardians can do to protect children.
